As a former international student (2017 Graduate) of this institution I would clearly advise others (international students) who would like to study here in the hopes of residing afterwards to stay clear. During recruitment they provided me with misleading information telling me during my skype interview and also via their international student handbook that I would be ELIGIBLE to apply for a Post Graduate Work Permit. No international graduate of this institution is actually ELIGIBLE to apply. This is not the first time international students were declined this visa. In fact, it is simply the first time a group of students have decided to speak up on the matter. To date the school is still not taking responsibility for their error that has significantly affected myself and others. If an institution is recruiting international students, it is important to provide facts and not create false hope. The school was even advised by another graduate from the 2016 class via email (which I have a copy of), that international students would not be ELIGIBLE to apply for this visa as the school DOES NOT fall into a certain category according to IRCC. Yet, they didn’t respond to the student or alerted their then current international student body. It’s a shame that this has happened. I relied on the information they provided and trusted them. I was also a very active member of the student body who encouraged others to apply to attend this, what I thought, was a noble institution.
