  I was told, this evening, that the $80 kettle I bought 3 days ago is not returnable because it's been used. I spoke with he manager and told him it was rinsed out before I plugged it in when I found out the cord was too short. He said no returns that's the policy, I told him that Walmart does not have this policy, and would shop there from now on if I had too, and he looked me in the eye and said that was fine with him. I used to purposely shop at Canadian Tire instead of Walmart. I will not be shopping at Canadian Tire anymore.

  Careless customer service and staff. I bought 4 winter tyres there and requested a call back to make an appointment for installation. They never called me back within 4 days. I then called the store 3 times and tried to talk to someone, unsuccessfully. I called Customer Services. The first time they put me on eternal hold. The second time, they tried to contact the store and told me they only had 3 employees dealing with multiple customers, and it was a very busy time of the year. I cancelled the order.

  Great store. Longterm team of knowledgeable staff that are willing and able to assist. Smaller store than others, but still maintains the great selection you would expect.

  1. the fairly low staff turnover means the regulars actually know the product lines well (low turnover usually indicates good in-store management)

  3. their returns policy is out of this world -- get a dud (happens to me all the time) just bring it back, no hassle. Gotta love it!
